"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." - Galatians 1:6 -12 KJV.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ the Lord, called and separated unto the true and pure gospel of Christ the Lord. Paul's gospel was, and is, Christ Jesus, and Him crucified. He says in 1 Corinthians 2:1-3 KJV - "And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling."
No eloquent speech. No charisma. No sugar coated, sweetened message to tickle itching ears. No high sounding words or vain wisdom of this world. No vain, fleshly, carnal, showy preaching. Nay, but with weakness, fear, and much trembling. The very heart of his gospel was, and is, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV). Paul's gospel is firmly focused on the person and work of Christ Jesus the Lord, and the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Himself. Paul warns of another gospel, a gospel perverted, that is not after the true Christ.
Paul speaks of "another Jesus" being preached in 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 KJV - "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."
A warning of another gospel, another Jesus, and another spirit. Beloved, believe not every spirit. Believe not every Jesus. Believe not every gospel. Paul, with an unfeigned faith, void of hypocrisy and false pretence, preached Christ in all truth and sincerity. He says in 2 Corinthians 2:17 KJV - "For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ."
There are MANY that pervert and corrupt the word of God. They subtly add and take away from the true gospel of Christ Jesus the Lord. They add doctrines and traditions of men. commandments of men, to the "other" gospel they preach. It is leavened with error, and hypocrisy. There is no true, clear, focus on the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. There is no true, and clear, pointing the souls of men to the Lord Jesus Himself as Saviour. There is no sincerity, as their faith is feigned, full of false pretence. It is showy, fleshly, carnal. All the world is a stage, and they are merely crafty actors that come in the name of Christ. Saying His name is not enough. Coming in His name is not enough. Honouring God with the lips is not enough. Doing many wonderful works in His name is not enough. Paul remained in the pure doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ, and was unmovable.
John testified in 2 John 1:9-10 KJV - "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:"
Another gospel is a dangerous gospel, a deadly gospel laced with error. Paul abode in the doctrine of Christ Jesus the Lord alone, abiding in the word of God and the word of God abiding in him. Paul let the word of Christ dwell in Him richly. Paul was not a man pleaser, neither was he taught of men, and his gospel came not from men, but was revealed to him by the Lord Jesus Himself. On this Rock Paul stood without wavering, not tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. Paul could say with David,
"He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved."
- Psalms 62:6 KJV.
From this firm, sure-footed place of standing Paul preached the true gospel of Christ Jesus and warned of another gospel. A gospel accursed. He warned of "another Jesus", one that many seem to bear with. The Spirit of truth has ZERO TOLERANCE for another gospel, for any other gospel, a gospel according to the spirit of error. If any man or woman, or an angel from heaven, will not abide in the pure doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and stay true to the Gospel of Christ Jesus the Lord, they hath not God. There is no light in them. They are vain, and know nothing. The word of God calls them that preach "another Gospel" ACCURSED. not once, but twice.
Beloved, believe not every gospel. Hold fast to the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Hold fast to His wholesome doctrine, to sound doctrine, to the form of sound words, and to the faithful and true Gospel as found in the word of God. Do not ever deviate from the very heart of the true gospel. Do not add to the gospel. Do not take away or diminish from the pure gospel. And here is the heart of the pure Gospel of Christ Jesus, again from Paul:
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV.
I, too, by the Spirit of the living God point to the Rock that is higher than I, Christ Jesus the Lord who only is my Rock and my Salvation. I point clearly to the gospel taught to me by the revelation of Jesus Christ, by His word and by His Spirit of truth. Beware of any other gospel, any gospel that is not according to the Scriptures. A gospel of man, from man, is another gospel. Another gospel is a very popular gospel, a well spoken of gospel, a man pleasing gospel, but it is an accursed gospel. A corrupt gospel, a perverted gospel, is no gospel at all. I say it again, an accursed gospel.
There is no power to save the soul in the accursed gospel. Beware of them that preach another gospel, as they themselves are accursed. Accursed by the living God. Heed them not. Follow them not. God is no respecter of persons. Flattering titles of men mean nothing to God. A form of godliness that denies the power thereof does not impress the Lord of heaven and earth. Beautiful, worshipful music does not move the Lord one jot or tittle from the soundness of His pure doctrine. Yet there are spirits at work to remove the souls of men from the truth of the gospel. Be careful to not be removed from the gospel of Christ Jesus the Lord, from the grace of Christ, unto another gospel.
Beloved, beware of another gospel.

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: Because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error"
- 1 John 4:1-6 KJV.
Try the spirits! This means test the spirits, examine them, judge them, prove them. Believe not every spirit. Just because a spirit comes in the name of "God" or names the name of "Jesus" does not make them truly of the Spirit of God. Do not simply believe them. There are many false spirits roaming about. Many spirits of the antichrist, spirits that come in the name of Christ, under the guise of Christ. Spirits of the world that mind earthly things, and savour the things of men. Spirits that speak of the world, and the world heareth them. They mind not the Spirit of God, and care not for the things of the Lord. Spirits that will not, and indeed cannot, hear the Spirit of truth, nor the word of God, nor do they speak the word of life. They are spirits of error, preaching error, teaching error, and leading souls into error. Often with an admixture of some truth leavened with deadly error. Lying spirits, seducing spirits, that lead the souls of men into disinformation and destruction. Try the spirits!
Is the "Jesus" preached the true Jesus according to the Scriptures? Try their "Jesus"! These false spirits have "another Jesus". Is the gospel presented the gospel according to the word of God? These lying spirits have "another gospel", a soft man-centered gospel, a social gospel, a works gospel, a gospel laden with the doctrines, commandments, and traditions of men. These deceptive spirits have a gospel that is not centered firmly on the person and work of Christ Jesus the Lord, the Saviour of the world. Another gospel that does not call men to repentance, that does not reprove men of sin, that does not warn men of judgment, neither speaks of a literal place called hell, nor preaches Christ Jesus and Him come in the flesh, of Him crucified. Let no spirit deceive you.
Try the spirits, even examining your own selves, to see whether you are in the faith of the true Lord Jesus or in another faith of another spirit. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV - "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" A reprobate is someone disallowed or rejected, abandoned to sin, abandoned to error, someone lost in apostasy. This is where the spirit of error will lead...the road to apostasy. The Spirit of truth leads to the one and only Saviour!
"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."
- 1 John 4:14 KJV.
Any man or woman that does not believe or accept the testimony of Scripture, of the record God gave of His Son, is lost. Any man or woman that does not have the Son, the one and only Saviour, is lost and perishing this very hour. Any man or woman that does not have the Spirit of truth, any man or woman that is not born of the Spirit of God, is dead in their sins, and following the spirit of the world, the spirit of error, the spirit of the antichrist. Again, let no spirit deceive you. For the believer, we have the Spirit of truth as our teacher and guide unto all truth. The Spirit of the Lord is greater than the spirit that is in the world. If one is not following the Spirit of truth and being led by the Spirit of truth, they are being led away by the spirit of error. They are deceived.
Not every spirit will confess that Jesus has come in the flesh, that the Son was, and is, God manifest in the flesh, and not every spirit will confess Him in all truth and righteousness. Try the spirits! Try them by the word of God, not by your own feelings and opinions. Try the spirits according to the Scriptures, by the word of God. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 KJV - "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." Make a careful examination. Prove the spirits. Believe not every spirit. This calls for a sober mind, an alert and ready mind. Hold fast to that which is good, the word of God.
A mind distracted and drunken with the things of the world is a mind open to seducing doctrines of devils. False spirits call men and women to "open their minds", and go with the flow of modern culture and the modern world. In Christendom, this translates to go with the flow of modern Christianity. Modern Christianity is a false Christianity, led away by the spirit of error and apostasy. It is drunken in the grey area of compromise with the world, with the spirit or error, the spirit of antichrist. Modern Culture and Modern Christendom cannot hear the true word of God. They reject the Spirit of truth, they reject His reproof, His correction, and His gracious and loving call to repentance. They repudiate the command of the Lord to come out and be ye separate. Many are given to ERROR.
"Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light." - Ephesians 5:14 KJV.
It is high time to awaken out of sleep. There are many false spirits in the world. An antichrist spirit is rising this very hour. Precious souls are on the line. Those led by the Spirit of truth have overcome the spirit of error. They know the truth, and have the sure word of the Lord. Those led by the spirit of error are overcome by delusion and deception, and are surely on their way to destruction. Which spirit are you listening to? What spirit is leading you? Awaken to the snare of the world. Flee the spirit of error.
Beloved, try the spirits.
