"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." - Luke 19:10 KJB.

"Lost" means "Not able to find the right way, or the place intended; Bewildered; Perplexed; Mislaid or left in a place unknown or forgotten; even Ruined; Destroyed..."
(Webster's 1828).

The Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd, has come to seek the lost, and to save the lost. Without the Lord Jesus we are not able to find the right way, like poor sheep we have all gone astray, have gone our own way. We are LOST. We cannot find our place intended without Him, our forever home can never be found outside of Him and His care. We are left bewildered, perplexed, misplaced.
Our poor lost estate can lead to our utter ruin and destruction, in fact, we are already utterly ruined by sin, headed for utter destruction, and need the Saviour.

This is the plight of EVERY person on earth, for ALL have sinned. No one is EXEMPT. ALL are LOST without the Saviour, Christ Jesus the Lord.

The Lord speaking of the lost sheep of the house of Israel in Jeremiah 50:6 KJB - "My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place."

This clearly illustrates the LOST Jews of the House of Israel, who were deceived by the false prophets and shepherds, and applies to every lost sinner today as well...

For these the Son came to seek, and to save, the LOST.
Hear Him calling thy name? When a poor soul, lost in sin and bewilderment, hears the voice of this Gentle Shepherd calling, they must simply repent and acknowledge their lost and helpless estate, and let the Great Shepherd save them. They cannot save themselves. Christ Jesus the Lord, that Shepherd of your soul, calls thee this very hour. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, saved to the uttermost. He shall bring thee to safety, and give thy soul sweet rest, as He is both thy life and resting place if you will only trust Him. He seeks thee, He came to save thee.

The Lord Jesus is the Shepherd and Bishop of the souls of ALL men, and is most able to save to the uttermost all that have gone astray. If only they RETURN to Him when He calls them. (1 Peter 2:25)

False shepherds, which are MANY, care nothing for you, nor for your soul. They come to devour and to destroy. They endeavor to keep you lost, and to keep you going astray. They beguile you, amuse you, entertain you, and lead you into error on a path of utter ruin. They are hirelings, and howl like a wolf on the prowl. They seek to TURN YOU AWAY from the Saviour, that great Shepherd of the sheep. These hirelings are MANY in these last days, deceivers, antichrists, the ministers of hell.

Flee them! Run from them for your life. Run with all of your heart to the SAVIOUR, Christ Jesus the Lord. He careth for thy soul, for thee, like no other.

He is that safe place of rest and salvation.
He calls to all the LOST this very hour.

There is only one way to God's heaven...

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
- John 14:6 (KJB)

Catholicism teaches that Mary is a mediator between God and man, and they have made Mary one of their many idols.
This is plainly a false teaching. Many believers discern the danger and error of this false doctrine.

Yet , in almost every gathering place in the western world of believers and unbelievers, they falsely believe that a pastor is the mediator between God and man, and the pastor has become an idol unto them.

Mary is NOT the mediator. No pastor is the mediator. No church is the mediator. Also, our works are not that mediation between God and man.

God forbid! There is ONE MEDIATOR between God and man, and His name is Christ Jesus the LORD. Only through Him can sinners be reconciled to the true and living God.

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.'
-1 Timothy 2:5-6 KJB

"Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities."
- Psalm 130:1-8 KJB.

Out of the depths the psalmist cries unto the Lord.
There is forgiveness with the Lord, otherwise, who could stand before Him?

To fear the Lord is the beginning of all true wisdom, because we are all in the depths of sin and iniquity.
The psalmist waits for the Lord, and in His word he hopes.
With the Lord there is tender MERCY and REDEMPTION, PLENTEOUS redemption!

For Israel, and for everyone that fears Him. The Lord shall redeem Israel FROM all his iniquities, as well as the psalmist, and all that call upon Him in truth. God alone can forgive sin, and cast our sins as far as the east is from the west, and cast our sins into the depths of the sea, and save the poor sinner that fears Him even FROM his sin.

And that most assuredly through Christ Jesus the Lord.

"Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the REDEMPTION that is in Christ Jesus."

- Romans 3:22-24 KJB.

Out of the depths, sinner cry to the Lord!...
The Lord shall save thee.
He shall redeem thee out of the depths.

The Israelites spoke against the Lord in the wilderness, murmuring, complaining, not believing in God nor trusting in His great salvation...

"And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived."
- Numbers 21:6-9 KJB.

Israel spoke AGAINST the LORD in the wilderness, after seeing His signs, wonders, and His providential care. Yet many still did not believe or trust in the Lord. Judgement came as the LORD sent fiery serpents to bite them, and many perished in the wilderness. "We have sinned!" they cried unto Moses. Moses prayed for the people and the LORD commanded Moses to make a fiery serpent of brass and set it upon a pole, lifted up for the people to see. When those bitten looked upon the brass serpent, beholding it, they would live.

The Lord Jesus speaking in John 3:14-15 KJB...

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

The Lord Jesus was lifted up for sinners just the same.
He died for our sins upon a cross, according to the Scriptures. He was buried, and He rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures. All who look upon Him, beholding Him, and believe upon Him and trust in His great salvation, shall live. They shall have eternal life through Him.

"WE HAVE SINNED!" is the honest cry. We have ALL been bitten by the fiery serpent. And because of our sin against the Lord we are perishing, and we will surely die.
What shall we do to be saved?

Look unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Look unto Him in the word of God, according to the Scriptures. For it is He that is lifted up!

Through the true preaching of His Gospel, He is lifted up.
By the power of the Holy Ghost, in truth, He is lifted up.
For the Holy Ghost does not speak of Himself.
By those born by the Spirit of God, and by the word of God...
They do speak of Him, they do testify of Him, they blaze the matter abroad to the ends of the earth, declaring Him...
They preach Christ, and not themselves...

Christ Jesus the Lord is LIFTED UP.

Behold the Lord Jesus Christ, and live.

Psalm 119:65-72 KJB - "TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver."

The Lord deals well with those that believe on Him.
He teaches GOOD JUDGMENT and knowledge.
We go astray from Him and His word, but He afflicts us for our own good so that we might keep His word.
The Lord is GOOD. The Lord does GOOD.
It is good that we are afflicted, chastened of the Lord...
That we might learn His word in all truth, that we might depart from every evil and false way, and that we might bask in the light of God's glorious salvation.

Psalm 119, the largest Psalm and the largest chapter in the Bible, has 176 verses. The entire theme of Psalm 119 is the word of God, and the psalmist love of the word of God. "According to Thy word" is the heart of Psalm 119.

Psalm 119:107 KJB - "I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word."

Psalm 119:116 KJB - "Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope."

The marked difference between those that merely profess to believe, and those that truly believe, is their genuine and sincere love for the word of the LORD.

Psalm 119:140 KJB - "Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it."

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is also "according to the Scriptures." True believers have a deep reverence and love for God's word, and judge all things according to the word of God, and prove all things by His word, and hold fast to GOOD JUDGMENT according to His word.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJB - "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES."

God's word is not according to the will of man, nor is the Gospel of our salvation according to man and his devices, but according to the Scriptures.
The written, engrafted, HOLY SCRIPTURES, the word of God that has been delivered to us by God's own inspiration and preservation.

Psalm 119:41 KJB - "VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word."

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."
- John 3:16 -21 KJB.

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." - John 3:36 KJB.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved to the uttermost. Forgiveness of all sin and everlasting life.
No condemnation for ALL those that believe on Him.

Believe not and thou shalt face the wrath of God to the uttermost, and shall PERISH and be damned for all of eternity. Eternal condemnation for ALL that believe NOT on Him.

Those who have not believed are CONDEMNED ALREADY.
God sent not His Son to condemn, but that we MIGHT BE SAVED. For God so loved us He sent the SAVIOUR.

Call on the SAVIOUR while it is called TODAY.

Repent ye and believe the Gospel.
