BEGOTTEN - Procreated; Generated.

"Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I BEGOTTEN thee." - Psalm 2:6-7 KJB.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God..And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only BEGOTTEN of the Father,) full of grace and truth." - John 1:1, 14 KJB.

"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only BEGOTTEN Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." - John 1:17-18 KJB.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only BEGOTTEN Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” - John 3:16-17 KJB.

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only BEGOTTEN Son of God."
- John 3:18 KJB.

"God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I BEGOTTEN thee."
- Acts 13:33 KJB.

"For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I BEGOTTEN thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
And again, when he bringeth in the FIRSTBEGOTTEN into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him."
- Hebrews 1:5-6 KJB.

"So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I BEGOTTEN thee." - Hebrews 5:5 KJB.

"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only BEGOTTEN Son into the world, that we might live through him." - 1 John 4:9 KJB.

"And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the FIRST BEGOTTEN of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood..." - Revelation 1:5 KJB.

To many God is an unknown God, but the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son hath DECLARED HIM OPENLY.
The Lord Jesus is God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), and the Lord Jesus is God's love manifest toward us.
Those that believe on Him shall rise as He is risen, as those that believe are also BEGOTTEN through His Gospel and His resurrection, He being the FIRST BEGOTTEN from the dead.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath BEGOTTEN US again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
- 1 Peter 1:3-5 KJB.

Jesus says in Luke 16:15 KJB ..."for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God."

Falsehoods, false doctrines, and false teachers that teach false doctrines and practices, though they are highly esteemed among men, are not highly esteemed by the Lord.
They are an abomination in the very sight of God.

1. Extreme hatred; detestation.
2. The object of detestation, a common signification in Scripture.
"The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord." Proverbs 15:8.
3. Hence, defilement, pollution, in a physical sense, or evil doctrines and practices, which are moral defilements, idols and idolatry, are called abominations." (Webster's 1828)

Was the Lord Jesus highly esteemed among men of the world?

"Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted."
- Isaiah 53:1-4 KJB.

No form. No comeliness. No beauty to desire. Despised. Rejected of men.
A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief.
We esteemed Him not, He was esteemed stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

This is the true Jesus according to the Scriptures. He is despised and rejected to this day. And so are the true people of God.

Someone who is true makes a sound appeal to the Scriptures, and is soundly fixed on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to the Scriptures. In this present evil world they are not highly esteemed or popular.
They will bear the reproaches of the Lord. They do not lightly esteem, nor disregard, the Lord and His word, and will bear reproach for His sake.

Moses, a true "hero of the faith", suffered affliction with the people of God...

"Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward." - Hebrews 11:26 KJB.
The psalmist esteemed the word of the Lord...

"Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way." - Psalm 119:128 KJB.

Not so with false prophets!

"Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach."
- Hebrews 13:12-13 KJB.

The Lord Jesus suffered without the gate, in a place called Golgatha, a place of a skull. A place of death. This is where He died for our sins. True believers are called to come unto Him without the camp, to bear His reproach.
We are called to suffer with Him, and we will be persecuted, hated, despised, and rejected by the world. We will not be loved nor highly esteemed!

Praise God that the Lord Jesus was buried, and rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures! But true believers will suffer with Him until the day of their resurrection and redemption.

Let this sink in. False prophets are LOVED by the world. They are spoken well of. They are highly esteemed among men. They are attractive to the world. They teach smooth things.
They appear even as ministers of the Lord Jesus Christ, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
They do not speak according to the word of God, there is no light in them.

They do not serve our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus.
They are of another spirit, preach another "Jesus", and teach another "Gospel".

The Lord Jesus says...

"Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets." - Luke 6:26 KJB.

The prophets of God in the Old Testament were not well spoken of.
They were hated, reproached, mocked, scoffed at, scorned, and killed.

The apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ were not well spoken of.
They were hated, slandered, reproached, suffered much affliction, mocked, scoffed at, scorned, all were killed, save John, who was imprisoned.

The Lord Jesus was not well spoken of. He was despised, rejected, reproached, mocked, scorned, and condemned to death on the cross.

Yet, the world loves the false prophets and speaks well of them.
So did they the false prophets of old.
Let this sink in.

"For our God is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:29 KJB.

Fire alarms can save lives. They are a simple device that detects either smoke or flame, and then sounds a piercing alarm to wake and warn of danger. Souls can then flee to safety and be saved from the fire.

Like a coastal town or village, when there is a large earthquake, and a threat of a tsunami. An alarm sounds warning of the danger, again waking and warning souls to flee to higher ground.

Most are thankful that these alarms are in place.

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is also an alarm.
The Gospel is good news for those that hear and believe...
But the Gospel is also a WARNING of a coming fire.

Israel is warned in Deuteronomy 4:42 KJB - "For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God."

This means that God will not tolerate idolatry, sin, and the rejection of His word. He will indeed judge these things, and His wrath is upon the fearful and unbelieving.

The Hebrews, and all of us, are reminded of this fact in the New Testament in the book of Hebrews.
Yeah, God is a consuming FIRE.

The Lord Jesus is set to return soon...

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power." - 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 KJB.

Those that spurn the gift of God's salvation have incurred His wrath. They that do not obey His Gospel are headed for the fire of God's judgement.

A voice from the past...

"When a house is on fire, what ought to be done first? We ought to give the alarm and wake the inhabitants. This is true love to our neighbor. This is true charity. Reader, I love your soul, and want it to be saved. I am therefore going to tell you something about hell. There is such a place as hell. Let no one deceive you with vain words. What men do not like, they try hard not to believe. When the Lord Jesus Christ comes to judge the world, He will punish all who are not his disciples with a fearful punishment. All who are found impenitent and unbelieving; all who have clung to sin, stuck to the world, and set their affections on things below; all who are without Christ; all such shall come to an awful end. Whosoever is not written in the book of life shall be "cast into the lake of fire." Rev 20:15." - J.C. Ryle.

THE ALARM IS SOUNDING! Without the Lord Jesus Christ as SAVIOUR, your house is on fire! The flames are climbing higher, and I for one cannot stand idle by the wayside to watch as you perish. The wrath and judgment of God is surely coming to a wicked, unbelieving world. And...If you die lost, without the Son as your one and only Saviour, you will go to a place called hell. It is for real by the very word of God.

I am telling you to flee for your life! Flee sin. Flee wickedness. Flee false teachers who care nothing for your soul. They are many. Flee to Christ Jesus the Lord. Run for your life!

God offers His salvation full and free through His Son, Christ Jesus the Lord. He died for our sins, He was buried. He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. How shall we escape if we reject or neglect so great a salvation? "Escape what?" many ask. Saved from what? From facing the wrath of God! From being cast into hell! From being cast into the lake of fire for all of eternity! We have all sinned against the Lord of heaven and earth. We are all sinners bound for hell. Christ came to save sinners! Repent! is the cry of the hour.

True love WARNS. True love calls out FIRE! FIRE!

There is that other side of this great news, if we reject His Son, if we neglect His Son, we perish in the fire. We will not be saved. We die lost in our sins. We will not go to heaven, but to the darkness and torments of hell. Hell is not a mythical place. Hell is not a party place. It's a real place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. The very words "HELL FIRE" come from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Himself. (Mark 9:47 KJB; Matthew 18:9 KJB).
Our minds cannot comprehend the torment and horror of hell. It gets even worse! There is a FATE WORSE THAN HELL. There is another place the Bible calls the lake of fire. Hell and all of those in hell will be judged and then cast into the lake of fire for ever and ever.

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." - Revelation 20:15 KJB.

Let these words come into your house and rescue your living soul from an awful end. Without the Saviour your house is on fire. The ALARM IS SOUNDING STILL. This is not a THREAT...

It is a WARNING.

Psalm 32:5 KJB - "I ACKNOWLEDGED my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will CONFESS my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.”

To ACKNOWLEDGE means to own, or own up, and confess, an honest admission of guilt. To admit the truth. The psalmist here both ackowledges and confesses his sin and iniquity unto the LORD directly and truthfully.

Again, David in the Psalms...

Psalm 51:1-4 KJB - "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I ACKNOWLEDGE my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.”

David acknowledges his sin unto the LORD.

Proverbs 28:13 KJB - "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso CONFESSETH and FORSAKETH them shall have mercy.”

The opposite of openly acknowledging our sin before the LORD is to HIDE THEM, or COVER them. This leads to further sin and trouble.

The Lord calls to backsliding Israel in Jeremiah 3:12-13 KJB - "...for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.
Only ACKNOWLEDGE THINE INIQUITY, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree,
and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD."

Clearly we see that the LORD stands ready to forgive and cleanse of sin, if we but ACKNOWLEDGE the LORD and ACKNOWLEDGE our sin before Him in all truth.
He is both ready and willing to give mercy to the poor sinner that has a penitent heart. (One that repents of sin; one sorrowful on account of his transgressions -Webster's 1828)

O the kindness and mercy of the true and living God! It is His love and kindness that calls us sinners to repentance, reproving us of sin, not willing that we perish in our sins.

It is true and faithful of the Gospel of Christ Jesus the Lord that...

1 John 1:9 KJB - "If we CONFESS our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

There is mercy and forgiveness of sin with the LORD. He is ever faithful.
If only we come out of hiding and ACKNOWLEDGE our sin, CONFESS our sin before the LORD, and be ready to FORSAKE sin.

"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." - Luke 19:10 KJB.

"Lost" means "Not able to find the right way, or the place intended; Bewildered; Perplexed; Mislaid or left in a place unknown or forgotten; even Ruined; Destroyed..."
(Webster's 1828).

The Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd, has come to seek the lost, and to save the lost. Without the Lord Jesus we are not able to find the right way, like poor sheep we have all gone astray, have gone our own way. We are LOST. We cannot find our place intended without Him, our forever home can never be found outside of Him and His care. We are left bewildered, perplexed, misplaced.
Our poor lost estate can lead to our utter ruin and destruction, in fact, we are already utterly ruined by sin, headed for utter destruction, and need the Saviour.

This is the plight of EVERY person on earth, for ALL have sinned. No one is EXEMPT. ALL are LOST without the Saviour, Christ Jesus the Lord.

The Lord speaking of the lost sheep of the house of Israel in Jeremiah 50:6 KJB - "My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place."

This clearly illustrates the LOST Jews of the House of Israel, who were deceived by the false prophets and shepherds, and applies to every lost sinner today as well...

For these the Son came to seek, and to save, the LOST.
Hear Him calling thy name? When a poor soul, lost in sin and bewilderment, hears the voice of this Gentle Shepherd calling, they must simply repent and acknowledge their lost and helpless estate, and let the Great Shepherd save them. They cannot save themselves. Christ Jesus the Lord, that Shepherd of your soul, calls thee this very hour. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, saved to the uttermost. He shall bring thee to safety, and give thy soul sweet rest, as He is both thy life and resting place if you will only trust Him. He seeks thee, He came to save thee.

The Lord Jesus is the Shepherd and Bishop of the souls of ALL men, and is most able to save to the uttermost all that have gone astray. If only they RETURN to Him when He calls them. (1 Peter 2:25)

False shepherds, which are MANY, care nothing for you, nor for your soul. They come to devour and to destroy. They endeavor to keep you lost, and to keep you going astray. They beguile you, amuse you, entertain you, and lead you into error on a path of utter ruin. They are hirelings, and howl like a wolf on the prowl. They seek to TURN YOU AWAY from the Saviour, that great Shepherd of the sheep. These hirelings are MANY in these last days, deceivers, antichrists, the ministers of hell.

Flee them! Run from them for your life. Run with all of your heart to the SAVIOUR, Christ Jesus the Lord. He careth for thy soul, for thee, like no other.

He is that safe place of rest and salvation.
He calls to all the LOST this very hour.

There is only one way to God's heaven...

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
- John 14:6 (KJB)

Catholicism teaches that Mary is a mediator between God and man, and they have made Mary one of their many idols.
This is plainly a false teaching. Many believers discern the danger and error of this false doctrine.

Yet , in almost every gathering place in the western world of believers and unbelievers, they falsely believe that a pastor is the mediator between God and man, and the pastor has become an idol unto them.

Mary is NOT the mediator. No pastor is the mediator. No church is the mediator. Also, our works are not that mediation between God and man.

God forbid! There is ONE MEDIATOR between God and man, and His name is Christ Jesus the LORD. Only through Him can sinners be reconciled to the true and living God.

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.'
-1 Timothy 2:5-6 KJB
